This hike starts by the UNESCO fjord Tafjorden, and at the bottom of Sunnmøre´s tallest waterfall: Muldalsfossen. Meet your guide at the parking lot in Muldalsvika at 09:30. From the fjord the trail takes you up 13 switchback turns to the top of the waterfall, where we are rewarded by an up-close view of the water cascading down 320 meters - over 1000 feet! The tallest at Sunnmøre.
From the top of Muldalen Waterfall we hike about 1,5 miles along the river in a lush valley with steep mountainsides on both our left and right until we reach the mountain farm tucked away by a hidden summer pasture. Once we get to Tafjordsætra you will be served lunch by the guide over historical and cultural stories. After lunch and sightseeing we hike back to the car and get to feel the contrast to modern society.

This tour have a local warm meal up at Tafjordsætra, and its important for us to know if anyone in the group have any allergies we should be aware of.
The hike is of moderate/easy difficulty and is partial on a wide path and single tracks. There are no steep or exposed areas, but you need to handle 3-4 hours of walking in the terrain. It is recommended to be in OK physical shape, and have some experience with walking in single tracks. Contact us if you want to know more about the tours difficulty/demands.
