Welcome to the Sunnmøre Alps, a hidden gem in the ski touring world.
You might have heard of Lyngen and Lofoten already, maybe even been there. The Sunnmøre Alps has all that those places have and more, just without the crowds. In addition we have located our 5 day ski touring adventure to the innermost, hidden part of the Sunnmøre Alps. We have peaks soaring from sea to 1500 meters into the sky. Some of the biggest elevation difference in Norway with annual snowfall of around 5 meters. We have alpine and tree skiing, fjord views, ocean view, gentle mountains, and sharp intimidating alpine objectives, offering big contrasts on big days and something for everyone, no matter your experience level.
This ski touring week package includes 4 nights at Valdall Fjord Hotel. 4 days of ski touring with a local guide. Pick-up and drop-off at your hotel everyday and transfer to and from the airport. This means all you need to think about is packing your bags and booking your flights to Ålesund Vigra Airport and no more planning needs to be done for you!
Price is 22,500,- NOK per person. Minimum 2 guests per booking.
Price for 4 people; 75,000.-
We will plan the back country ski tour according to your level and wishes. You need to have several years experience with alpine skiing in the slopes, and to stay active for 4-8 hours. The guide will give you an introduction to randonee equipment and avalanche equipment. In addition to beautiful views and powder turns, the guide will share his local knowledge about the region as well as basic skills about ski touring.
The guide will contact you a couple of days in advance to discuss your experience level and wishes for the days, as well as current weather and snow conditions.
The guide will always put the group's safety as a priority. This means that weather, wind, and other conditions will always provide guidance as to whether the planned route can be completed or not. Always follow the guide and stay behind the guide unless otherwise instructed. The guide has a lot of responsibility, help your guide with keeping you safe. Remember to read through our booking conditions and safety rules as this is automatically part of the agreement when you book a trip.
