A 3-day hut-to-hut trail running adventure that starts at Muldalsvika by the fjord in Tafjord. The trailhead has plenty of parking and is a safe place to leave the car for the 3 days we are out. This trip is priced to be more affordable by only including the trail running guide. We use a professional mountain guide and a professional trail runner for this trip. So, not only will they show the way and keep everyone safe, but you will have a wealth of knowledge in the guides to learn from about outdoor travel and running.

This trip is organized in August/September since even the highest peaks are free of snow at this time.

En 3 dagers trailrun-tur som starter ved Muldalsvika i Tafjorden. Dit kjem man med bil og kan tryggt parkere bilen under helgen. Dette er en litt rimligere tur da det kun er guiden og losji på første kveld som er inkludert utenom guide gjennom hele turen. Dette er en perfekt langhelg i august og september. Vi bor på DNT hytter og lager mat sammen men spleiser på kostnadene og kvar og en er ansvarlig for egen lunsj og snacks underveis på tur.

Trip plan:

First evening, meet at 17:00 in Muldalsvika

Muldalsvika - Tafjordsætra: 5km / 500m vertical

Day 1

Muldalen - Vakkerstøylen: 16km / 700m vertical

Day 2

Vakkerstøylen - Reindalssætra 20km / 500m vertical

Day 3

Reindalsætra - Muldalen 15km / 800m vertical

Nyttig info

If you want to join us on this trip, you should be able to comfortably run on trails for up to 6 hours a day while carrying a medium-sized pack. We have classified this run as demanding because it requires you to run and hike for several hours a day across varied terrain, for three consecutive days. Although there is no technical scrambling involved, the terrain can range from smooth trails to rocky boulder fields. Children aged 15 and above can accompany a parent on this run as long as the parents deem it suitable.

The guide has the safety of the group as their number one priority. This means weather, wind, and terrain will determine the trip and if the planned route can be followed or not. If the conditions are too bad to start the trip and we cancel the trip then you have the right to change dates or get a full refund. If you decide to cancel then you can change dates but not receive a full refund.
